We are all aware that times are hard right now. Therefore, we have started a "JewishCard Tzedakah Box"
to help those in need and give something back to the communities we serve. With every purchase, JewishCard puts a percentage of
the total, less shipping and tax, into the Tzedakah Box.
We invite you to participate in this by helping us support your synagogue, temple, or nonprofit at no extra cost to you.
If you would like to direct 10% of your purchase cost, less shipping and tax, to be given back to your participating nonprofit, all you need to do
is indicate its ID number in your Ordering Instructions during checkout. When we send our contribution
checks, your synagogue will receive its allocated share of the Tsedakah Box.
For for any purchase not already directed, we get to choose the non-profit, and we donate 5%, of your purchase, less shipping and tax, to our favorite non-profit charitable organization with an exceptional record for helping humans, animals, or our environment.
This month the non-allocated funds in the JewishCard Tzedakah Box is targeted for "Mazon".

Founded in 1985, "MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger" is a national, nonprofit agency that allocates donations from the Jewish community to prevent and alleviate hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds.
American Institute of Philanthropy has rated them "A".
